How it works
Theon wraps the Claude Agent SDK in a native macOS app. Same capabilities as the CLI — better experience.
Add your projects
Point Theon at any directory on your Mac. Git repos get automatic branch detection and worktree support. Non-git folders work too.
Launch a session
Press ⌘T to start a Claude Code session. Pick a branch or worktree, choose your mode (Normal, Plan, or Auto-accept), and you're in.
Chat and approve
Claude has full tool access — file edits, bash commands, search. Every action shows a structured permission prompt so you know exactly what's happening before you approve.
Stay productive
Sessions keep running in the background. Get macOS notifications when Claude needs you. Resume any conversation from full history — nothing is lost.

.dmgfile from the link above - Open the .dmg and drag Theon to Applications
- Launch Theon from Applications or Spotlight
- Security note: macOS may show a prompt on first launch. Right-click the app → Open, then click “Open” to proceed
